Where is my data?
On your phone. If you turn on iCloud sync (iPhone) or Android Backup, a copy also lives in your own iCloud or Google account. If you sign in to a Habit Ledger account, a synced copy is kept on our server so your devices stay in step; delete your account in Settings to remove it. Without an account, StillCFO never receives your data.
Can I use it on more than one device?
Yes. Sign in with Apple or Google in Settings → Account, and your buddy, habits and history stay in step on every phone and tablet, iPhone or Android. You can add both logins to one account, see your devices, sign any of them out, and delete your account anytime (or see habitledger.app/delete-account). Accounts are for ages 13 and up. A plan you bought on one store works on the other once you're signed in.
What does free include?
Up to 3 habits, local reminders, 3 starter buddies (Golden Pup, Orange Fluffball, and Bunny), buddy levels up to 10, 7-day stats, 1 savings goal, and every kit, including the teen kits.
What do Standard and Plus add?
Habit Ledger Standard ($6.99 a month) adds all 10 buddies, unlimited habits, Silver and Golden coats, the full Crib and coin shop, seasonal items, all-time stats and Habit P&L, Home Screen widgets, the watch apps, iCloud sync, theme colors, and app icons.
Habit Ledger Plus ($39.99 a year, 7 days free) is everything in Standard plus 18 holiday buddies who visit through the year, and all four Plus Packs: Sleep (sleep sounds mixer, fade timer, and Dozy Owl), Money (Subscription Tracker with help cancelling, plus unlimited savings goals), Health (Apple Health and Health Connect auto check-ins, including medications), and Focus (a Focus timer on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, plus NFC tag check-ins).
What is the Holiday Pass?
An optional $4.99 add-on for Plus members. Holiday Pass 2027 unlocks every holiday buddy that arrives in 2027 (and this fall's, as a launch bonus) the day it arrives, with no coins needed. They're yours to keep. It's a one-time purchase for that year only; next year's pass is separate and optional. Without it, Plus members can still adopt holiday buddies with coins they earn.
How does the free trial work?
Plus starts with 7 days free, then renews yearly. We remind you before the trial ends. To cancel, open your App Store or Google Play subscriptions and cancel Habit Ledger at least a day before the trial or renewal date.
Can I buy coins?
No. There are no in-app coin purchases, ever. Coins are earned by checking in, so there are no surprise charges.
Will my kids see purchase prompts?
No. Kid profiles never see purchase prompts. If a family member wants Plus, Apple Ask to Buy or Google Play family approval lets a parent approve it.
How do I restore a purchase?
Tap Restore purchases on the upgrade screen or in Settings. Use the same Apple or Google account you subscribed with.
Reminders didn't arrive
Reminders are local notifications. Make sure notifications are allowed for Habit Ledger in your phone's Settings, then open Settings in the app and tap Allow reminders. Weekly habits only remind on the days you picked.
The widget is empty
Widgets are part of Habit Ledger Standard and Plus; on the free plan the widget shows an upgrade note. After upgrading, open the app once so today's list refreshes. On iPhone, add it from the widget gallery by searching for Habit Ledger.
The watch says "Waiting for data"
Open Habit Ledger on your phone once while the watch is nearby and connected. The phone sends today's list to the watch, and it stays there even when the phone is out of range. Check-ins made on the watch reach the phone the next time they connect.
Does Habit Ledger read my Health data?
Only if you turn it on in Settings → Health. It reads on your phone to suggest check-ins and never uploads anything. You can turn it off at any time.
